HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT
We are seeking a Housekeeping Attendant who is passionate about excellent service. The candidate should have strong attention to detail and a commitment to attending work as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Clean floors, walls, furniture, cupboards, and other areas of guest rooms.
- Clean patios and furniture.
- Clean guest bathrooms and restock linen and amenities.
- Collect garbage from all receptacles in guest rooms.
- Strip and remake beds according to hotel standards.
- Clean and check lamps and light fixtures.
- Clean and fill ice buckets.
- Check and replace hotel collateral and stationery as necessary.
- Attend to any extra requirements of guests.
- Promptly inform the Supervisor of any defects or maintenance work needed in guest rooms.
- Inform the Supervisor of guest comments or complaints.
- Keep trolleys and cubby holes clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that all garbage is removed from the trolley and that corridors and cubby holes are clean and tidy before going off duty.
- Ensure that all linen caddies are placed in their original position in the corridors before going off duty.
- Be polite and courteous to guests and staff at all times.
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Complete any other reasonable requests made by Management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a housekeeping attendant.
- Writing, reading, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
