About the Role
Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will maintain and clean assigned guest rooms daily, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene that reflect Mandarin Oriental’s legendary luxury service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Room Maintenance: Clean and maintain occupied and vacant guest rooms to exact supervisory standards.
- Bed & Linen Care: Efficiently make beds and remove all soiled linens, towels, and trash to designated chutes or housemen.
- Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and dry all bathroom fixtures, walls, bathtubs, showers, and water closets using approved chemicals.
- Amenities & Organization: Replenish all terry items and amenities, arrange guest toiletries neatly, and fold guest clothing items according to standard procedures.
- General Upkeep: Clean interior windows and mirrors, wipe down furniture and baseboards, and vacuum carpets across assigned work areas.
- Corridor & Tray Management: Clear room service trays from hallways and corridors, bringing them to back landings for collection.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Senior school qualifications or equivalent (Degree or Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment, specifically in housekeeping.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, linens, and cleaning machinery.
